![]() ![]() Another benefit of this combo is that you can fit all the steps into 2 macros (no Tricks) and end at 10/40. The combo costs 220 CP (Steady Hand I) or 226 CP (Steady Hand II). I stopped using Waste Not once I got this combo down because Manipulation lets me not burn a Steady Hand I/II charge. The combo I have been using gives me 9 touch attempts, all of which are under Steady Hands I/II. ![]() ![]() This is my first guide - thanks for understanding if it's not up to par or common knowledge - I have seen many guides on crafting but none that touched on this particular method. I do sprinkle in ToT as long as I'm not in the middle of Manipulation or Waste Not, and the occasional Standard Touch on "Excellent" condition. I HQ nearly 100% of the time using this method for Steel Ingots as a level 40 ARM. Rumination if needed, Steady Hands II, finish synth Get to 100% or as close as possible for quality while leaving just enough durability to finish When Durability is 10/40 then Master's Mend, if 20/40 Steady Hands II + Hasty Touch to bring to 10/40 then Master's MendĤ0/40 - use Steady Hands II + Waste Not, then 4x Hasty Touch (Do NOt use ToT during this phase) Hasty Touch (3x if Manipulation, 4x if Waste Not) (Do not use ToT during this phase) If ToT was used then Manipulation, If not then Waste Not Steady Hands II -Tricks of the Trade (If up) I was asked today how to HQ a 40 Durability Synth on the regular - so I wrote a short guide and created a flow-char to go with it: ![]()
